Almost all aHappyDeal.com products will work in all countries. General usage devices like MP4 players, digital cameras, digital picture frames, USB devices, small gadgets, etc. can be used anywhere as they have been designed for universal use.

See below for some of the more common issues:

Menu language
All products that have a menu interface are shipped with the English language settings set as the default language. Please review the individual product descriptions for what other languages are supported. All products are also shipped with English language manuals.

NTSC / PAL / SECAM video region
Every video sensor receives and relays video signals in a standard format such as NTSC, PAL or SECAM. This can be an issue when the video device signal doesn’t match the receiver device signal. This could also apply to any number of devices such as: a wired or wireless security camera, spy camera, baby monitor, car reversing camera, car DVD player system, or standalone video monitor.

It can also be a problem when analog TV signals in your country don’t match the receiver formats on your TV device.

Please ask our Customer Service staff for standard technical advice about particular products or combinations of products if you need help with confirming that they will work in your country or in a dropshipping customer’s country.

Cell phone bands
For normal GSM phones, there are four different frequency bands: 850MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900 MHz. Not all countries have all these GSM bands supported by their local mobile telecom services. And not all mobile phones have all GSM bands, so make sure you check which frequencies you require. The simplest way to ensure that you get the right GSM bands on your new cellular phone is to check which bands are supported by the provider of your current SIM card.

DVD player region
For reasons of distribution control, commercial movie DVDs are sold encoded in particular “regions” around the world, e.g. Region 1 for USA, Region 2 for Europe etc.

For reasons of supreme coolness, aHappyDeal's portable DVD players and car DVD players are all 100% region free straight from the factory, meaning that they play DVDs from all regions and countries. Therefore this is one localization issue you do not need to worry about – all your DVDs will playback fine without any issues.

Electrical socket type and voltage
One half of the world uses 230/240V electricity, and the other half uses 110V. Thankfully, all aHappyDeal products that use chargers or adapters are compatible with both 230/240V and 110V unless indicated otherwise.

Every country seems to have its own peculiar configuration of mains electrical socket types, leading to a variation in standards. To address this, you can and should specify the precise plug type you require in the aHappyDeal.com online checkout process to ensure compatibility.

All aHappyDeal products in stock in our warehouse are by default in the EU plug type format. Orders sent with other plug type choices will be given one travel plug adapter per plug for no additional charge.

If you order over 50pcs of any item, we will attempt to obtain new stock from the factory to ensure the adapter type matches your chosen plug type without the need for plug travel adapters.

Ordering the wrong products
While we make every reasonable attempt to make the product descriptions clear and precise, and warn you if you ordered apparently mismatching products, it is solely your responsibility to order the correct items to ensure compatibility. Whatever you order, we will send to you. Return costs for reasons of mistakenly ordering the wrong or incompatible product are your responsibility, and we reserve the right to charge restocking fees.
